Teaching Philosophy

As an educator, I believe that all children can achieve greatness when given the opportunity to do so. I feel that setting high expectations for all students support my philosophy that all children can succeed. I strive to be the perfect role model and to make a difference in the lives of every boy and girl that enter my classroom.

My role as an educator is to:

  • set high academic expectations for all students. Expect all of them to learn, and help them to do so.
  • vary my teaching methods. Individualize instruction for each student to better meet the students' needs.
  • build students' self esteem by using praise generously.
  • care about children, since children learn best when taught by a warm, friendly, and enthusiastic teacher.

Finally, I love teaching and making a difference in the lives of children. It is my vision to see every child reach their full potential, achieve greatness, and be caring, contributing members of society.
